To uninstall a language module, you must delete the language from the database and uninstall each component of the language module that you installed. This topic describes the steps.

To uninstall a language module

  1. In the Classic client, on the Tools menu, click Object Designer.

  2. In Object Designer, select all objects.

  3. On the Tools menu, click Language Module, and then click Export.

  4. In the Language Module Export window, in the File Name field, enter the path and file name of the file that will contain the deleted language module.

  5. In the Language field, click the AssistEdit button.

  6. In the Windows Language List window, select the language that you want to delete, and then click OK.

  7. In the Language Module Export window, select the Delete language field, and then click OK.

  8. In Control Panel, click Programs and Features.

  9. For each component of the language module that is installed, select the component, and then click Uninstall/Change.
