inventory location to use zones and bins to operate as a warehouse
location.
The batch job creates initial warehouse entries for the warehouse adjustment bin for all items that have inventory in the location. It is necessary to perform a physical inventory after this batch job is finished so that these initial entries can be balanced by posting warehouse physical inventory entries.
The physical inventory posting is not part of this batch job and must be done by the user manually after the batch job has completed.
As preconditions for running the batch job, it is necessary that
all negative inventories and any open warehouse documents be
cleared before the batch job runs. You can run the Check
on Negative Inventory report to identify the negative
inventory and open warehouse documents.
Location Code: Enter the Location Code for the location you would like to enable as a warehouse location.
Adjustment Bin Code: Enter the bin code of the bin that will act as the adjustment bin for the warehouse location.
Click OK to start the batch job. If you do not want to run the batch job now, click Cancel to close the window.
