Language

Click this menu item to open the Application Languages window. Here you can choose the language you want the application to run in.

To use this menu item, do the following:

  1. Click Tools, Language. The Application Languages window appears.

  2. Select the language you want and click OK.

Note

The application language only effects application text, such as window and field names, it does not effect the language of data that you enter.

Microsoft Dynamics NAV only supports a single character set for data. Therefore some characters may not be supported by your installation and you may experience problems when retrieving data that was entered using a different character set. For instance, your installation may support only English and Russian characters and if you enter data in a different language, it may not be stored correctly. You should contact your system administrator to make sure you understand which languages are supported by your installation.
