Resources can be employees, machinery or other company resources. For most companies, an optimal assignment of resources is an important part of the planning and production process.

The Resources application area allows you to manage your company's resources effectively; production and project planning can be based on the availability and capacity of resources. Resources can also be included in bills of materials, job planning and job costing.

The Resources application area can be integrated with the General Ledger application area. Resources can also be posted using the documents in the Sales & Receivables application area. Global dimensions can be used with resources.

You can invoice customers for sales that are composed of various resources. The program can calculate resource costs. G/L integration allows you to post costs and revenues related to the sale of resources.
