The Mobile Document Queue List window enables you to modify a request document that is either new or has not processed successfully, and the status displays as Error. This is useful if an error occurs when trying to process it for the first time. To modify a request document, export the file, modify it, and then import the modified file back again.

To modify a request document before processing

  1. In the navigation pane Administration, click Application Setup, click Mobile, and then click Document Queue List.

  2. In the Mobile Document Queue List window, select the request document that you want to modify, for example, by applying the appropriate filters. For more information, see How to: Process Mobile Documents in Microsoft Dynamics NAV Classic.

  3. Click Functions, and then click Export Request XML.

  4. In the window that appears, browse to the location where you want to save the XML file, and then click Save.

  5. Open the exported XML file and make the appropriate changes. For example, add or remove elements, or modify attributes.

  6. To import the modified request document, in the Mobile Document Queue List window, click Functions, and then click Import Request XML.

    Make sure that you import the same document that was exported.

  7. In the window that appears, browse to the location where the XML file is placed, select the file, and then click Open.

  8. To process the modified request document, in the Mobile Document Queue List window, select the relevant request document, and then click Functions, Process Documents.
