This batch job generates translation entries for values in option fields in Microsoft Dynamics NAV when the fields are set to be used on mobile devices. Mobile applications that integrate with Microsoft Dynamics NAV can include fields where the possible values are option strings. To ensure that the options display correctly on the mobile device, you must first define which languages are available, and then you must specify which tables with options fields are used in the mobile applications. The Mobile Option Fld. Cptn. List window lists the option string values that are sorted first by language and then by option number. The Mobile Option Translation batch job creates entries in the Mobile Option Field Caption table for each language that has been specified in the Mobile Language table.

The strings only display in the specified language if you have translated strings in that language. For example, if your company is located in Spain, you have access to strings in English (United States) and Spanish. So, if you want your mobile users to also have access to strings in Portuguese, you must add a language module with the strings translated into Portuguese. |
