This field contains the quantity of items that remains to be shipped.
The program calculates this quantity as the difference between the Quantity and the Quantity Shipped fields. It updates the field each time the Quantity or Quantity Shipped fields are updated.
If the location requires pick or ship processing and warehouse activities have started, the value in this field can only be controlled by the warehouse documents. If you try to fill in this field, the program gives you a warning that anything entered here will be disregarded by the warehouse operations.
If you want to bypass the warehouse operations, you must cancel the warehouse activities for this line.
