Phys. Inventory List Report

This report provides a physical list of the lines that you have calculated in the Phys. Inventory Journal window. You can use this report during the physical inventory count to mark down actual quantities on hand in the warehouse and compare them to what is recorded in the program.

The report does not automatically show the calculated quantity of the items. You can have the program include the contents of this field in the report by placing a check mark in the Show Qty. (Calculated) check box.

If you choose to show lot and serial numbers in the report with the Show Lot/Serial No. option, the way the report displays the item tracking information depends on the setup of the location and the item:

• If the location does not use bins, the report lists all available lot and serial numbers per item in inventory in the location.

• If the location uses bins and the item tracking code of the item is set up for warehouse-specific tracking, the report lists the lot and serial numbers contained in each bin.

• If the location uses bins and the item tracking code of the item is not set up for warehouse-specific tracking, the report lists only a summary per item of all the lot and serial numbers in inventory in the location.

Note

If you run Calculate Inventory in the Phys. Inventory Journal with the option to show items not on inventory, the program lists in the journal all items, even those that have no quantity in inventory. If you then run this report with the option to show lot and serial numbers, the report lists for these zero-inventory items all lot and serial numbers that have been used in the past, but they are only history and not currently in inventory. For those items that are in inventory, the report lists only the lot and serial numbers that are currently in inventory.
