Inventory - Top 10 List Report

This report displays information about the items with the highest or lowest sales within a selected period. You can select the number of items that will be shown in the report.

You can also choose that items that are not on hand or have not been sold are not included in the report. The items are sorted by order size within the selected period. The list gives a quick overview of the items that have sold either best or worst, or the items that have the most or fewest units on inventory.

You can define what is included in the report by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the Item tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. You can also determine what is shown in the report by filling in the fields on the Options tab. Fill in the fields as follows:

Item

No.: Here you can specify the numbers of the items to be included in the report. To see the existing item numbers, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.

Inventory Posting Group: Here you can specify the inventory posting groups to be included in the report. To see the existing inventory posting groups, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.

Statistics Group: Here you can specify the statistics groups to be included in the report. The field can be used only if the corresponding field on the item card is filled in.

Date Filter: Enter the period to be covered in the report (for example, 03/01/00..03/31/00).

Click the up-arrow at the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the result of the filters you have defined for the table.

Options

Show Largest/Smallest: Select the Largest option button if you want a report on the items that have the highest sales; select the Smallest option button if you want a report on the items that have the lowest sales.

Show Sales(LCY)/Inventory: Select the Sales(LCY) option button if you want a report on item sales; select the Inventory option button if you want a report on the items' inventory.

Quantity: Enter the number of items to be shown in the report.

Include Items Not on Hand or Not Sold: Place a check mark in the check box if you want items that are not on hand or have not been sold to be included in the report.

Click the Print button to print out the report. If you want to see the report on the screen before printing, click the Preview button. If you do not want to print the report now, click Cancel to close the window.
