Inventory - Transaction Detail Report

This report displays a transaction detail with entries for the selected items for a selected period. It shows the inventory at the beginning of the period, all of the increase and decrease entries during the period with a running update of the inventory, and the inventory at the close of the period. The report can be used at the close of an accounting period, for example, or for an audit.

You can define what is included in the report by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the Item tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. You can also determine what is shown in the report by filling in the fields on the Options tab. Fill in the fields as follows:

Item

No.: Here you can specify the numbers of the items to be included in the report. To see the existing item numbers, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.

Description: Here you can set a filter on the Description field.

Bill of Materials: Enter Yes if the items that will be included in the report are BOMs.

Inventory Posting Group: Here you can specify the inventory posting groups to be included in the report. To see the existing inventory posting groups, click the Filter field, then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.

Shelf No.: Here you can enter a filter so that only items at specific locations in the inventory will be included in the report.

Statistics Group: Here you can specify the statistics groups to be included in the report. The field can be used only if the corresponding field on the item card is filled in.

Date Filter: Here you can specify the period for which transaction detail will be shown (for example, 03/01/00..03/31/00).

Click the up-arrow at the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the result of the filters you have defined for the table.

To see the sorting keys and determine the order in which the information will be displayed in the report, click Sort....

Options

New Page per Item: Place a check mark in the check box if you want each item transaction detail to be printed on a separate page.

Click the Print button to print out the report. If you want to see the report on the screen before printing, click the Preview button. If you do not want to print the report now, click Cancel to close the window.
