Create Stockkeeping Unit Batch Job

With this batch job you can create stockkeeping units for your items. It is started from the Functions button of the item card. The batch job uses the information from the item card to create a stockkeeping unit for each variant and/or location.

You can define what is included in the batch job by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the Item tab by clicking one of fields in the Field column and then click the AssistButton that appears to the right. You can also determine what is included in the batch job by filling in the fields on the Options tab.

Fill in the fields as follows:

Item

No.: Here you can specify the numbers of the items that you want included in the batch job.

Inventory Posting Group: Enter the code of the inventory posting group that you want included in the batch job. To see the existing inventory posting groups, click the AssistButton to the right of the field.

Location Filter: Here you can specify the locations that you want included in the batch job. If you leave the field blank, stockkeeping units will be created for all locations.

Variant Filter: Here you can specify the variants that you want included in the batch job. If you leave the field blank, stockkeeping units will be created for all variants.

Options

Create Per: In this field, you can select an option depending on whether you want to create stockkeeping units per location or per variant, or both.

Item In Inventory Only: You can select this field if you only want the batch job to create stockkeeping units for items that are in your inventory (that is, for items where the value in the Inventory field is above 0).

Delete Previous SKU: You can select this field if you want the batch job to delete all previous created stockkeeping units on the items you have included in the batch job.
