Country/Region Table

List of Fields in the Table

You can use the Country/Region table to set up country/region codes. This makes it easier to see which countries/regions you do business with. Country/Region codes are also useful in connection with sales that often require following special customs procedures for different countries/regions.

You use this table to set up a code representing information for each country/region. After a country/region code has been set up, you can enter it in the Country/Region Code field on a customer or vendor card. This links the information in this table to the customer or vendor.

When a country/region code is entered in a window, the program will use the code to format all the addresses in the window on printouts.

Attention

The table is used if you trade with other countries/regions in the EU. You use it to create the VAT- VIES Declaration Tax Auth report and to create INTRASTAT reports, which include information about sales to other countries/regions.
