VAT Statement Report

This report displays a statement of posted VAT and calculates the duty liable to the customs authorities for the selected period. The report is printed on the basis of the definition of the VAT statement in the VAT Statement Line table. The report can be used in connection with VAT settlement to the customs authorities and for your own documentation.

You can define what will be included in the report by setting filters. You can set additional fields on the tab by clicking the Field field, then clicking the AssistButton that appears to the right. You can also determine what is shown in the report by filling in the fields on the Options tab. Fill in the fields as follows:

VAT Statement Name

Statement Template Name: Select the name of the VAT statement template to be used in the report. To see the existing VAT statement template names, click the Filter field and then click the AssistButton that appears to the right.

Name: Enter the VAT statement name to be used in the report.

Click the up-arrow at the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the result of the filters you have defined for the table.

VAT Statement Line

Row Number: Enter a number that identifies the rows you want to include in the VAT statement.

Options

Statement Period: Enter the time interval from which VAT statement lines will appear in the report using the Starting Date and Ending Date fields.

Open: Select this option button if you want only open VAT entries shown in the report.

Closed: Select this option button if you want only closed VAT entries shown in the report.

Open and Closed: Select this option button if you want both open and closed VAT entries shown in the report.

Within Period: Select this option button if you want entries only from the period in the date filter to be shown in the report.

Before and Within Period: Select this option button if you want entries from both the period in the date filter and the period before the date filter to be shown in the report.

Round to Whole Numbers: Place a check in the box if you want the amounts in the report to be rounded to whole numbers.

Show Amounts in Add. Reporting Currency: Enter a check mark in the box if you want report amounts to be shown in the additional reporting currency.

Click the Print button to print out the report. If you want to see the report on the screen before printing, click the Preview button. If you do not want to print the report now, click Cancel to close the window.
