Writing Comments about Setup Tables

Writing comments for a table can help you remember which setup decisions have been made, and why. It is also a means of communicating decisions to others. Comments are included as footnotes on the Setup Checklist report but are not otherwise used by the program.

To Write Comments about Setup Tables:

  1. Open the Setup Checklist window.

  2. On the table line, click the AssistButton in the Comments field to open the Comment Sheet window.

  3. Fill in the fields. For Help about a specific field, click the field and press F1.

  4. After filling in the fields, close the window.

The program inserts the text Yes in the Comments field of the Setup Checklist window for the selected table.
