Assigning Posting Groups to Bank Accounts

You use bank account posting groups to link your bank accounts to the general ledger. Before you can assign posting groups to bank accounts, you must set up bank account posting groups and you must set up your bank accounts.

To Assign Posting Groups to Bank Accounts:

  1. Open the Bank Account Card window.

  2. Browse to the relevant bank account card on which you will enter a posting group code.

  3. Click the Posting tab.

  4. In the Bank Acc. Posting Group field, click the AssistButton .

  5. Select the line with the desired posting group, and then click OK to copy the code to the field.

  6. Repeat the procedure for each of the bank accounts.
