Generate Search Index Batch Job

With the Generate Search Index batch job, you can re-index the information about selected types of items in your database to ensure the quick search in the future. You can re-index five types of items: Contacts, Interaction Log Entries, To-dos, Opportunities, and/or Rlshp. Mgt. Comment Lines.

To be able to re-index the information you must have super-user privileges.

You can define what is included in the batch job by setting filters. If you want to include more information, you can select additional fields to be included in the batch job. To do this, in the Field field, press F3, click the AssistButton and then select the relevant field(s).

Click the up-arrow in the lower left-hand corner of the window to see the table with the filters you have set for the batch job.

If you do not set any filters, the batch job will include all your records.

Click OK to start the batch job. If you do not want to run the batch job now, click Cancel to close the window.
