Inbound Product Catalog Line Table

List of Fields in the Table

When you receive product catalogs electronically, the program stores them in a set of temporary tables that contains all inbound product catalogs. The inbound product catalogs that are stored here are either pending, accepted, rejected or processing.

A product catalog is inbound if it is sent to you from one of your business partners.

When you accept an inbound BizTalk product catalog, the information in the Product Catalog Header table is not transferred to Microsoft Dynamics NAV. This header information is already in the Item or Item Vendor table. Only the information in the inbound product catalog lines that contain the actual item information is imported into Microsoft Dynamics NAV and used to update or create new item lines in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Item table.

The Inbound Product Catalog Line table contains all the relevant information about the items in the BizTalk product catalogs, such as name, unit of measure, unit price, identification numbers and other basic information.

The Inbound Product Catalog Hdr. table and the inbound product catalog line are related to each other in the same way as regular Microsoft Dynamics NAV header and line tables.

Thus, the inbound product catalog line is used as a read-only viewer where you can view specific data on items on the inbound product catalogs.

Note

The inbound product catalog line is read-only. This means that it is not possible to alter or enter anything in the Inbound Product Catalog Line table. If you need to make any changes to the table, you must make them after the BizTalk product catalog lines have been used to update or create new item lines in Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

This is also why there is no Help for most of the fields in the Inbound Product Catalog Line table. If you need Help or information about any of the fields in this table without Help, see the Help for the corresponding field in the Item table.
