Inbound Product Catalog Hdr. Table

List of Fields in the Table

When you receive product catalogs electronically, the program stores them in a set of temporary tables that contains all inbound product catalogs. The inbound product catalogs that are stored here are either pending, accepted, rejected or processing.

A product catalog is inbound if it is sent to you from one of your business partners.

The information on the Inbound Product Catalog Header table is not imported into Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Only the information in the Inbound Product Catalog Line table is imported into Microsoft Dynamics NAV, and it is used to update or create new item lines in the relevant Microsoft Dynamics NAV Item table.

The Inbound Product Catalog Header and the Inbound Product Catalog Line tables are related to each other in the same way as regular Microsoft Dynamics NAV header and line tables are related.

Thus, the Inbound Product Catalog Header table is used as a read-only viewer where you can view general data on inbound product catalogs and from which you can accept or reject product catalogs.

The Inbound Product Catalog Header table contains all the relevant information about the vendors sending you BizTalk product catalogs, such as name, address, identification numbers and other basic information.

Note

The inbound product catalog header is read-only. This means that you cannot work with the inbound BizTalk product catalogs from here. To be able to work with the product catalogs, they must be accepted and imported into Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

This is also why there is no Help for most of the fields in the Inbound Product Catalog Header table. If you need Help or information about any of the fields in this table without Help, see the Help for the corresponding field in the Vendor table.
