Setting Up a BizTalk Partner in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Creating the BizTalk Partner on BizTalk Server

1. Make sure that the wanted BizTalk partner has registered their organization on the BizTalk Server.

2. Open the BizTalk Partner Setup window and fill in all relevant fields as required.

3. Click Functions, Create Organization.

Setting up a BizTalk partner in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and creating a connection from your Microsoft Dynamics NAV to the partner on the BizTalk Server does not automatically activate any agreements that are used to exchange documents. This must be done by creating the necessary agreements and documents on BizTalk Server and updating them in Microsoft Dynamics NAV .

Furthermore, it is also possible to carry out this process in the reverse order and first create a connection from your Microsoft Dynamics NAV to the BizTalk partner on BizTalk Server and subsequently update Microsoft Dynamics NAV by selecting the correct BizTalk partner from the BizTalk Organization Name field. This field lists all available BizTalk partners that are presently registered on BizTalk Server.

 

1. Open the BizTalk Partner Setup window.

2. Fill in all relevant fields in the header as required.

3. In the lines, enter the agreement types in the Agreement Type fields, or click the AssistButton to the right to open the BizTalk Partner Agreement Type window and select agreement type.

4. When you have selected the number of agreements you need, place a check mark in the Active field to activate the agreement.

Note

You can deactivate the agreement(s) by removing the check mark in the Active field.
