Before you can send a BizTalk shipment notification, you must make sure that you are connected to BizTalk Server. Furthermore, your BizTalk partner must be registered as a BizTalk partner in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and connected to BizTalk Server Finally, you and your BizTalk partner must have a valid agreement to exchange BizTalk shipment notifications.
Once the connection is established, in order to send a BizTalk shipment notification you must create or open a Microsoft Dynamics NAV posted sales shipment.
To send a BizTalk shipment notification, follow this procedure:
Create or open the Microsoft Dynamics NAV posted sales shipment that you want to send as a BizTalk shipment notification.
Click Functions, Send BizTalk Shipment Notification.
